Arrest of 23 individuals planning to illegally cross the sea in Al Bireh - North

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
An army unit, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, raided the residences of wanted individuals in Al Bireh - North, and arrested 4 Lebanese citizens and 19 Syrians while they were planning to illegally cross the sea. They seized a military weapon and a quantity of ammunition and military equipment in their possession.
The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
