Arrest of 4 Citizens in Al Minyeh – North, Harbata - Bekaa, and Hermel, as Part of Security Measures

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As part of the security measures taken by the military institution, Army units supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested 4 citizens as follows:
•    The arrest of the citizen (A.Gh.) in Al Minyeh – North for extortion and assaulting citizens, as well as insulting the military institution.
•    The arrest of the citizen (H.S.) in the town of Harbata - Bekaa, as he was wanted for opening fire on previous dates. A military weapon was found in his possession.
•    The arrest of the citizens (M.AA.) and (H.M.) in Hermel - Bekaa, as they were wanted for drug trafficking and opening fire, and 278 Captagon pills were found in their possession.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
