The Army: Arrest of an individul involved in an incident that resulted in one death and one injury in Boudai – Baalbek

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 19/4/2026, an incident occurred in the town of Boudai – Baalbek, which involved gunfire and resulted in the injury of one citizen and the death of another. Following surveillance and security monitoring operations, an army unit raided the residences of those involved in the incident on 20/4/2026 and arrested the citizen (H.CH.). Another unit, as part of ongoing security measures, also raided the residences of wanted individuals in Douris – Baalbek, seizing a quantity of military ammunition.

The investigation with the detainee was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority, and efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
