The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of Brigadier General PSC Ahmad Kassem who passed away on 20/11/2024.

The following is a brief summary of his life and military career:

  • Born on 5/3/1955 in Kfarkela – Nabatieh..
  • Enlisted in the Army on 01/10/1973 and promoted through the ranks, starting as a lieutenant on 01/07/1976 and reached the rank of Brigadier General on 01/01/2004.
  • Received several medals and decorations as well as the congratulations of the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander several times.
  • Followed several educational and training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
  • Married with 3 children.
