Seven individuals arrested in Chekka-Old tunnel and Al Kobbeh –for committing various crimes.

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 24/2/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the Lebanese (A.H.) and (A.M.), the Syrian (A.A.) and the Palestinian (A.Z.) in Chekka old tunnel for illegal drilling by machines inside public property.  Another patrol from the Directorate also arrested the Lebanese (A.M.), (A.K.) and (F.K.) in Al Kobbeh for their participation in a family dispute in Al Zahriyeh, which included an exchange of gunfire from military weapons, knowing that the detainees are from both sides of the clash. Follow-up is underway to arrest the rest of those involved.
The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
