Two individuals arrested in El Arida and El Amara for various crimes

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 18/5/2024, a patrol from the intelligence directorate raided the residence of citizen (L.D.) in El Arida-Akkar and arrested him for committing various crimes: shooting, extortion, theft and looting, as well as robbing one of the largest commercial centers in Jbeil on May 2, 2023.

Another patrol also arrested citizen (Kh.AA.) in El Amara-Akkar for the crimes of shooting and setting fire to residences, in addition to creating problems that led to the death of a citizen. A military weapon was seized in his possession.

The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
