Visitors of the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, received at his office in Yarzeh the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General on the Middle East conflict and its consequences, Jean Arnault. The meeting focused on the general situation and the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the importance of the Lebanese Army's role within the framework agreement.

During the meeting, Mr. Arnault praised the efforts of the military institution in preserving Lebanon's stability, commending its sacrifices in the face of ongoing challenges.

General Haykal also received Deputy Speaker of Parliament Elias Bou Saab and Minister of National Defense Major General Michel Menassa. Discussions covered the latest developments, in addition to matters related to the General Amnesty Law and issues concerning the military institution.

He also met with the Parliamentary Committee on National Defense, Interior, and Municipalities, MP Jihad Al Samad. The meeting addressed current developments, while MP Al Samad praised the sacrifices of the military institution and stressed the importance of rallying around and supporting the Lebanese Army.
